Year One had the privilege of welcoming Mrs. Bodla, who kindly shared insights into her Muslim faith and beliefs with the class. During the visit, the children watched a video showcasing mosques from around the world, listened to the call to prayer (azaan), and learned about the preparation process for prayer. They also had the opportunity to try on headscarves and participate in a short prayer together. It was a meaningful and enriching afternoon, providing the children with a valuable experience in exploring different faiths and beliefs.
