The Colour Monster
Year Six have really enjoyed reading The Colour Monster. It helped us to reflect on many emotions that we have all experienced over recent months and how we can overcome our negative feelings. We felt that it was important now, more than ever, to look out for each other and help each other through trickier times. We each decorated a jar with colours and the feelings that we associate with these colours as a way of expressing our feelings.

As part of our on-going computer literacy learning involving online safety, the children thought careful and spent time over the term thinking about their time spent on devices, advising teacher and parents how to support their children in this area. We were so impressed by their maturity and wisdom.
Later in the term, Year Six developed their thinking further and worked hard to support the children in Year Five, offering top tips and ideas about what to do if something on-line made them feel comfortable. Below is one example of the children's use of PowerPoint to present their ideas.
