Year Three pupils had a fabulous day out at Stafford Castle. The children were able to learn about the history of the castle and what the grounds would've looked like when people lived there. The children learnt about how people would watch the Anglo-Saxons to keep them in line and even role played as Anglo-Saxon warriors ready invade the castle! Year Three went on to look at various chainmail and weapons from those times as well as having a go at minting their own coin. The staff at Stafford Castle commented on how amazed they were with the fantastic curiosity and love for learning in Year Three!
