Raised Salt Paintings

You will need:

• Glue
• Watercolour paint (or food dye)
• Table salt
• Piece of card or paper

1.) Squeeze glue designs or pictures onto your card. You may want to trace your drawing in pencil first.

2.) Sprinkle with salt until the glue is thoroughly covered. Tip to let excess salt fall away.

3.) Dip your paint brush into watercolour paint then gently touch to the salt-covered glue lines. If you don't have watercolour paint, you can use watered-down food dye. Watch the paint “magically” travel in both directions!
