Although our children have one timetabled lesson of PSHE (Personal, Social, Health and Economic Education) each week, we believe it underpins the entire curriculum. Through morning worship to PE to history lessons, we believe every aspect of the Berkswich environment enables our children to have positive lifestyles and understand their role and the impact they can have in the wider world. It is evident walking through our school, in the relationships between staff and children and in the interactions between the children themselves. Our curriculum is intended to support the school in developing a cohesive and comprehensive whole-school approach to PSHE.

Whilst we are learning from home, we are offering opportunities for this education to continue. Due to the nature of this learning, activities may be discussion based with members of the family. Please allow yourself to debate and, although you may not agree, listen and understand another person’s point of view.
