Father Graham opens our new library with a blessing

A very warm welcome to all of our Berkswich CE school and local community (and to families further afield). Please enjoy worshipping together as we share our Christmas services; there are four in total: Nursery and Reception, Year One and Two, Year Three and Year Four Christingle Service and Year Five and Year Six Nativity Celebrations.

Please scroll down to view each video which has been filmed and skillfully edited by Mr Williams. We are, once again, so grateful to him and Mrs Williams for their time and support.

~ Giving at Harvest ~

We return once again to a time for thankfulness, for celebration and for thinking of those in our local and world communities.

Please do join us in our EYFS & Key Stage One Harvest and our Key Stage Two Harvest celebrations by clicking on the videos below.

On Thursday 11th November, before and after school, we are collecting items to continue our support for the House of Bread in Stafford. Please drop new items such as toothbrushes, shampoo, shaving gel and soap into the playground before or after school. Can you help HoB reach their Ten Thousand Toiletries Campaign?

We are also supporting the life-changing work of Christian Aid overseas. Please click on this link or zap the QR code to visit the donation page to give a pound or two towards their community projects - to set up groups to impower communities in the face of environmental disasters.

Thank you so very much for your kind donations.

Easter Celebrations Together at Berkswich CE

Please click the Spring flowers below to join us in our Easter Celebrations at Berkswich CE. Whilst videoing outside, we even had a lovely message that meant so much: one of our neighbours spoke of how uplifting the singing had been. We certainly enjoyed celebrating and feeling part of something together once again.

A huge thank you to Mr Williams, one of our grandparents, who has skilfully filmed and edited the Year One to Year Six videos. We are grateful that we have so many members of our extended Berkswich CE family who support us brilliantly!

Separate Year One to Year Six videos will also soon be available on the class webpages.

Early Years and Key Stage One Christmas Celebrations

What unusual times these are but our amazing children have not let this hold them back. Although we cannot create our Nativity story in the same way this year, we think that you will agree the children have risen to the challenge beautifully.

Please join with Nursery, Reception, Year One and Year Two in their celebration of the first Christmas through, 'It Begins in Bethlehem!"

Harvest Festival Celebrations!

There will be a donations box for tins, packets of food and toiletries for the House of Bread in Stafford. As the children explain in the video, the foodbank is just one of the services House of Bread offers.

The box will be on the playground before and after school on Friday 9th October only.

We thank you so much for your donations.
