We learnt that computers in our school are all part of a network. Computers are all connected to each other so we role played this and all became parts of a computer network. We all roleplayed as laptops sending messages to our friends across the classroom. We soon realised to get from one side of the room to the next it took a lot of passing notes! When a network switch was added messages became much quicker to send!

We discussed how computers can be helpful and we compared drawing on a computer to some of our pictures we drew on paper. It was tricky to make them look exactly the same! We learnt that the computer had to process what we were asking it to do before we could do it!
