There was sunshine, smiles and plenty of excitement when Year Five went on their class trip to Chester Zoo on Tuesday. The long-awaited trip was made possible by the children’s wonderful fundraising efforts and it certainly didn’t disappoint. The children enjoyed seeing various animals from around the world, including lemurs, giraffes, penguins, and many more! It was interesting to learn different facts about the animals, as well as their conservation status and how we can help make a difference to species that are sadly endangered. One of the highlights was seeing the red panda that we have adopted as a class! All staff were so proud of the children’s enthusiasm and exceptional behaviour on the trip – well done, Year Five!
