Learning From Home

As you are all aware, schools have re-opened for some pupils. For those who have returned to Nursery I hope you are enjoying being back at school. I will be continuing to work from home, therefore I will putting on home learning activities on Tapestry daily which will mirror the learning taking place at school.

We are aware that many of you will be returning to work, therefore you may choose to upload pictures after you have done each activity or you might find it more manageable to upload them altogether at the end of the week. Please do whatever suits you best at home as I am aware of the difficulties you are all facing. I can then provide next steps and feedback. You can also email me at as a way of communicating.

Mrs Gilbert and I are still very keen to see what you are all doing at home so please continue to upload photos as you have been, if you are able to.

Every Thursday at 4.30pm I will be hosting a Storytime on Zoom. Please make sure you have a show and tell ready to share with myself and your friends. I look forward to seeing you all every week!

Thank you for your continued support and understanding. I hope that everyone keeps well and safe. Please feel free to contact me at any time with any queries.

Mrs Gartside-Bentley

In Nursery we have used the book The Colour Monster to explore our feelings and emotions. The children matched each colour monster to an emotion, made their own colour monsters, explored colour mixing and wrote about our emotions.
