Year Three have been learning about the music associated with Chinese New Year to aid in their knowledge pentatonic melodies this half term. Year Three learnt the story of Nian and could describe the music using key vocabulary such as crescendo (gradually getting louder), tempo (speed), duration (length), dynamics (volume), timbre (sound).
