The children have begun a new unit in computing and have begun to explore different types of computer hardware. The children explored unplugged headwear and talked and what they thought each item might do. The children enjoyed pressing the buttons on the keyboards and were able to make links noticing teachers use them in school and some parent use them at home. The children were extremely interested in the different cameras, lots of children said they had their pictures taken on a mobile phone not a camera. 

The children have been learning how to take pictures on the iPads. We took the iPads around the school looking for numbers and shapes. The children independently took their own photos of what they had found and were able to show their friends back in class.
