Due to the current COVID-19 restrictions, regrettably we are unable to invite parents into school for a tour of Berkswich CE primary and nursery. We understand that choosing the right setting for your child is one of the most important decisions that you will make in your child’s learning journey. With this in mind, we hope to provide you with a range of opportunities to allow you to gain an insight into life as part of our special Berkswich community and the chance to ask questions. We certainly welcome the opportunity to support and reassure you as you organise your child’s first steps into Nursery and Reception. We are offering virtual meetings to provide an opportunity for new parents to meet our headteacher, EYFS leader and teaching staff. This will provide a great opportunity for you to ask questions and find out about our community and learning at Berkswich CE. Your child is a vital part of this process, and so we welcome them to join in with the meeting.

Celebrating Our Learning - June

Just look at Eva's ring doughnuts made from salt dough for a Brownie challenge. They look good enough to eat!

Evie is already doing Year Six Science work!

Frankie and her dad had a fantastic day fishing. Look at the size of this fish!

For her Brownie project, Emma had to make her own musical instrument!

Kitty has been busy drawing figures using her light box... How brilliant is this!

Eva has been busy preparing afternoon tea for a Brownie challenge. She made a selection of sandwiches, lemon drizzle cake and a chocolate fudge cake! Did you have to clean the mess up too, Eva? I bet the eating of your effort was well and truly worth it!

It's so important to keep practising your instruments - even when you don't have a lesson!

Emma is thoroughly enjoying the online music lessons! Have you tried this week's yet?

Beth has been busy developing her DT skills for a birthday present for her sister. Happy birthday, Cora!

I absolutely love the fact that Kitty is enjoying growing her own fruit and vegetables! She even took the time to create this in order to inspire others!

Charlie busy with his home learning!

Emma taking on the Science Challenge!

What a creative class we have! Well done, Kitty, Kian, Codie, Emma and Ellie!
