Reading and Spelling books

Every day, children must bring their spelling books to school as they will be tested throughout the week. All children will be tested on their spellings within a two week period.

Children will be choose a "sharing book" every Friday to promote reading for pleasure, which will be changed the following Friday. Your child will also return home with their decodable reading book (Little Wandle) on a Wednesday, this should then be returned the following Monday. Please encourage your child to read or be read to everyday (even if it is for 5 minutes).

P.E. Kits

P.E. is on a Wednesday and a Friday. PE kits will be brought in at the start of each half term in a bag and returned at the end of half term (unless requested). Children will be getting changed in class before and after P.E. lessons.

Outdoor wear

Please send your child in with a coat everyday, there may be opportunities for outdoor learning each week. 

Homework

Homework will only be set on Microsoft Teams on Thursday and will need to be returned by Tuesday the following week. This will be a range of subjects, not just Maths and English. If you have any issues with Microsoft Teams, please contact so we can help sort it out for you.
