Energetic Environmental Supporters! - March 2023

Year Six dedicated one afternoon to planting field maple trees to create a new hedge at Walton High School. We discussed the impact of planting trees on the environment and how this creates additional habitats. Everyone took such care planting their saplings, and the children took great delight in showing all of the staff the whole range of creepy crawlies found in the soil!

It will be wonderful to watch these trees grow during their time at high school, knowing that they played such an important part.

Thank you to our friends at Walton, for involving Year Six in this project, an important part of transition for many into Year Seven.
