Healthy Lifestyle


We know how important it is to live a healthy, balanced life. We have looked closely at the Eat Well Plate to help us better understand what a balanced diet looks like. 


There are lots of different sources of each of the food groups.

Vegetarians and Vegans can get their protein from other sources such as chickpeas and lentils - Elizabeth.

Some people have other sources of dairy like soya or oat milk - Elsie.


Planning a Healthy Meal

We used our knowledge of the Eat Well Plate and what we know about our meals to design a healthy meal that follows the guidelines. We made sure to use lots of fruits and vegetables in our meals as well as protein, dairy, carbohydrates and fats.
