Calypso!

Year Three have been looking into Calypso music which originated from the Caribbean. This genre of music was used to tell other people what was happening (like the news) and stand up for justice! 

In the video below, we are singing the song 'What's the Story?'. We created our own news headlines to shout during the chorus, see the video below!

We applied our prior knowledge when looking at staff notation to help us read the music to the song 'What's the Story?'.
