Ahoy, Captain!

What an exciting learning opportunity pupils in Year Four experienced this week. The children set sail from Southampton on board the Peggy Sue! During their day on the high sea, they learnt a new skill of tying knots! The children learnt the importance of these special knots required for boating, such as figure of eight and the hitch knot. Pupils took great delight in icing cakes, improving their observational drawing skills and much more. All done without losing anyone overboard and with no sea sickness to be seen! What a wonderful day!
