During this unit, Year One developed their understanding of the various aspects of using a computer to create and manipulate text. They can log onto a laptop and they are now more familiar with using a keyboard and mouse to enter and remove text. Year One also considered how to change the look of their text and they could justify their reasoning in making these changes. Year One considered the differences between using a computer to create text, and writing text on paper, explaining which method they prefer and their reasoning for choosing this.
