Spring Two Swimming
Unfortunately, we could not go swimming again this term, so we took advantage of the time to develop our rounders skills.
The children explored their understanding of the principles of striking and fielding. They learnt how they can score points when striking a ball and running around bases. When fielding, they learnt how to play in different fielding roles, including, bowling and backstop. They focused on developing their throwing, catching and batting skills alongside demonstrating their understanding of rules and team sports.
