To further our learning about what information technology is and how it helps us, we investigated what information technology we have at home.

Children have been developing their understanding of technology and how it can help them in their everyday lives.

The children are familiar with different components of a computer by developing their keyboard and mouse skills. 

Children know the main parts of a desktop and a laptop computer. The children have been practising turning on logging in to a computer. Children have also used the mouse to open a programme and create a simple picture.
