Summer 1 Striking and fielding
In Year One children have been learning how to strike a ball with increasing accuracy using bats and their hands. They’ve also explored fielding techniques—chasing, stopping, and returning balls—with great enthusiasm! Through simple games and challenges, children are learning the importance of working together, following rules, and supporting one another as part of a team.
