This half term, we have been using our prior knowledge of Scratch Jr. and stepping up to the challenge of using Scratch. We are so happy to be sharing our amazing work! If you want to have another go and look back at this, the link to the website is at the bottom of the page.

First, we got to grips with the new software. We practiced moving a sprite and changing how they look and changing the background. We loved playing with the sounds we can make! 

Next, we had a go at using more than one sprite. Can we make them rotate around the screen? Can we make them take 20 steps forward? 

Building on our skills, we have incorporated our knowledge of additional sprites and backgrounds as well as building on movements. We practiced making our sprites move when we clicked the space bar or talking when we click the green flag.
