Lesson 2: Informal Letters
Today, I would like you to write your own informal letter to astronaut Chris Hadfield. Have a think about what you would like to tell him, perhaps about a fear you have overcome or what you would like to be when you are older. You could also write a question in your letter that you would ask. Remember to use a question mark ? after a question.
You can complete this task on either the computer or by hand. I would like you to use a pretend address.
Look at the letter below to give you an idea of how to structure your letter. You can use the checklist to make sure you include all the key features of an informal letter. Proofread your work carefully when you have finished.
